Google Analytics is a Google service. Google Analytics generates detailed statistics about a website’s traffic, traffic sources, measures conversions and sales. Google Analytics the most used websites statistics service. Google Analytics service is a free of charge and a premium version is available for a fees. It can track visitors from all referrers, direct visits, included search engines and referring sites. It also tracks pay per click, email marketing, display advertising and digital collateral such as links with in PDF documents. In 2005 Google’s service was developed from Urchin on Demand. The Google Analytical System also brings ideas from Adaptive Path, Measure Map, Whose product was acquired. Google Analytics integrated with Google AdWords, Goals might include sales, downloading a particular file, lead generation and the viewing a specific pages. Google Analytics service approach is to show high level and the dashboard type data for the casual users. E-commerce reporting can track sales performance and sales activity. The Google Analytics E-commerce reports show a site’s transactions, many other commerce related metrics and revenue. Google Analytics API is used by third parties for custom applications like reporting tools.
